The World Honors Armenia

1927-2006

(Last update: June 2006)

For the past 70+ years more than 40 countries around the world have honored Armenia by issuing stamps in her honor. The former Soviet Union, Argentina, Germany, Spain, Vatican City, Israel, Romania, Iran, Turkey, San Marino, USA, Uruguay and many other countries have issued stamps on momentous Armenian topics such as: Yerevan's 2750th Anniversary, Armenian Costumes, the Genocide, Armenian Churches and Architecture, the Yerevan University, the Earthquake, as well as recognizing and honoring renowned Armenian poets, painters, musicians, inventors, composers, archaeologists, and dramatists - to name just a few. It is a challenge to accumulate these stamps, and it is the desire of every Armenian collector to own a collection of stamps issued by other countries pertaining to Armenia and with an Armenian theme.

About five years ago we started offering to our regular clients these stamps on an average of 3-4 different sets each month. This project has been going very successfully and so far the following illustrated pages have been produced. Each stamp or set of stamps is mounted with special protective mounts on a specially produced illustrated album page and contains story, biography and background about each issue.

Following is a complete listing of countries/pages produced so far with 3-4 different sets being added each month. Here are a few images of the illustrated album pages, click on them to see the actual 8.5 X 11 illustrated page. The selling price is for the illustrated page plus the set of stamps.
